Luzhai track and field sports is with 18,070 square meters, a standard 400-meter track and an 11-a-side football stadium. The east and west stands can accommodate 10,000 spectators at the same time and will be the home of the games in the future.


In order to make the whole stadium spectator area and field area of the sound field uniformity, frequency transmission response characteristics and language clarity, the three technical indicators reach excellent level, JSL makes the technical scheme according to the mathematical equation, to determine the design data meet the requirements of field use, to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the final results.

In the design of the speaker system of Luzhai track and field stadium, the actual use requirements are mainly considered. The sound expansion system is controlled by the field and the stand respectively, and each group of sound channels evenly covers a certain area.


To enhance sound quality and language clarity, more acoustic energy sources can be directed directly towards the audience by varying the directivity or "Q" value of each array module.


According to the use characteristics of sports competitions, the speaker JSL LA series with high directional factors and strong tolerance for various sound quality is selected. The product is suitable for fixed installation and mobile use of portable applications, providing the best sound quality experience for the entire audience area.

Because the audio system requires further transmission distance and more channel number and processing power, the JSL engineers built a live audio system solution based on the Dante network architecture.


The Dante is a digital audio transmission protocol based on the network IP, with high clock accuracy, low latency, flexible signal routing, and fast and simple system architecture. The Dante protocol can be run in a gigabit or Gigabit Ethernet, and can form complex audio signal routing. In Gigabit Ethernet, each single link can bidirectional transmit audio signals of 512 route 24 bit quantification accuracy, 48 kHz sampling rate, or 256 route 24 bit quantification accuracy and 96 kHz sampling rate, respectively. In a 100 trillion Ethernet, each single link can bidirectional transmit audio signals with 48 route 24 bit quantization accuracy, 48 kHz sampling rate, or 24 route 24 bit quantization accuracy and 96 kHz sampling rate, respectively.


The track and field stadium audio system architecture is a Dante network architecture with switches as the signal scheduling core. It is an important link in the stable operation of the system. The audio processing equipment supporting Dante protocol is essential.


For the selection of switches, in order to meet the requirements of processing multichannel input and output audio signals in the system, the gigabit configurable switch is selected to ensure sufficient bandwidth. In the audio system, the Dante switch only processes the dante network audio signals, and is not connected to the external network, reserving sufficient network bandwidth for the audio transmission to ensure the stability of the system. Considering the requirements of remote transmission, the single-mode optical module and single-mode optical fiber are configured for the core switch in the system for the long-distance transmission of the Dante network audio signal.

Full preparation work and full understanding of the equipment make the implementation of the whole system design scheme can be carried out accurately and efficiently. According to the original plan, after the equipment is unsealed, the equipment will be packed separately. For the equipment that does not need frequent disassembly, the wire and power supply will be fixed for installation and marked, so that the use is clear, simple and beautiful.


As designed, all devices with Dante capabilities are operating under normal operation. After all devices are powered on, check that the system's Dante port configuration is in normal operating mode, and that the IP address is in an automatically assigned state. With normal switch configuration, devices in the dante network can be discovered and configured. For the Dante networks of audio systems, the clock accuracy is very high based on the IEEE 1588 PTP clock protocol. However, once the clock fails, the audio signal will mute and even fail to detect the device, so monitoring the clock status of the audio devices in such a Dante network becomes particularly important.
